NEW
BUMPER STICKER (continued)
The word leaked out from
unidentified sources in March that your STM Alumni Association had
indeed entered into the 21st century with the registration of
the domain name: www.STMforever.com.
The formal announcement wasn’t made until the Communion Breakfast on
May 7, at the Franklin Plaza Hotel – and in dramatic fashion!
Cued by Jim Pasquarello ’56, while reading the
official announcement, a 3 foot by 12 foot banner was unfurled to the
delight and cheers of everyone present.
The banner was actually an oversized
reproduction of a new bumper sticker (distributed to everyone at the
program’s end) with our Web site location brilliantly and beautifully
displayed. The artwork for the new sticker was done by Bear Tracks
Art Director, Bill Patton ’59. The hope is that any and all folks, no
matter where they may be on this planet - and we have grads in
Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Italy and elsewhere – who care about
Catholic education will log onto our site, find out all about us and
join in our cause. Hopefully, this state of the art means of
communication will better serve our alumni at large and help to generate
even greater support among our membership.
The bumper sticker is available
by mail from Al Fanelli’s Barber Shop (see Bear
Market page on this site) for$1.00 plus $0.50 postage and handling.
Proceeds benefit our Scholarship Fund. Order your today and display it
proudly for all the world to see!
